Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson & WWE Set To Release Movie About Paige's Life


Finally, WWE's Paige has teased her new film, Fighting With My Family which has been in the offing for some time now.
The first look at this biopic got its chance at the Wrestlemania 34, on April 8, 2018.

Fighting with My Family is an upcoming comedy-drama film based on the 2012 documentary The Wrestlers: Fighting with My Family, directed by Max Fisher, telling the story of WWE professional wrestler Paige. It will be directed and written by Stephen Merchant, with Dwayne Johnson executive producing and also appearing in the film.

The movie tells a story of the Bevis family, who all are professional wrestlers, and try to work through the issues that arise when sister and brother duo, Saraya and Zak, audition for roles in WWE, a professional wrestling company.

Fighting With My Family
“Reformed gangster and former wrestler Ricky, his wife Julia, daughter Saraya and son Zak who make a living performing in tiny venues across the country. Ricky and Julia want a better life for their children and when brother and sister get the chance to audition for WWE, it seems the family dream is coming true and all their troubles will be solved. However, Saraya and Zak are about to learn that becoming a WWE Superstar demands more than they ever imagined possible as athletes and siblings. Wrestling has always kept this family together – but now it could tear them apart.”

It is actually a biopic of WWE Superstar Paige, played by Lady Macbeth star, Florence Pugh. In the clip, the future Paige and her brother receive some advice from Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson as to how to win over a crowd…


Other actors in the movie include, Florence Pugh as Saraya "Paige" Bevis, Zak’s sister and Patrick and Julia’s daughter. Stunts during wrestling scenes were performed by Tessa Blanchard as a stunt double.

The movie is in English and it is slated to be released September, 14 2018 in the United States and September 28, 2018 in the United Kingdom.
