Dr. Jose Chameleon Challenges Bebe Cool to a Music Battle

Jose Chameleon is friends with Bebe Cool but they are [kind of] enemies too. Ugandans have learnt to live with their “frienemy” style of relationship and that’s okay – the two men are both talented and together, they have virtually carried Uganda’s nascent music industry on their backs – from [nearly] oblivion – for years. 

In spite of all this, however, one thing had never been resolved; who is the better Musician?

As you read this, Joseph Mayanja also known as Dr. Jose Chameleon has crossed the Rubicon – he is challenging Bebe Cool to a singing battle.

“I have heard of the battle with my big brother,” he wrote on Facebook, referring to his nemesis, Bebe Cool. “I am a music Dynamo and whosoever wants to battle should know that that’s the day you are going to be buried before your disciples!” he continued.

Then he taunted the challenger, bantering; “I will put a cross on your grave as I engrave R.I.P.”

Almost in the same breath, Bebe Cool then took to his social media account to write, controversially, that he would be making “a special ANNOUNCEMENT on Monday, Feb. 26, 2018 at 2pm.”

It is yet to be confirmed if Bebe Cool will be accepting Chameleon’s challenge… But whatever he will say, the self-proclaimed Big Size promises that it will make a major impact on the Uganda’s Music Industry.

If this music battle ever comes to fruition, it will be Bebe Cool’s third – having done it before versus Fire Base’s Bobi Wine & Goodlyfe’s Radio and Weasel.
