Famous Swedish Music Producer Avicii Found Dead In Oman
Celebrated Music Artist, DJ and Producer, Tim Bergling also known as Avicii was found dead in Muscat, Oman
on Friday, April 20, 2018. Avicii was Swedish, born in Stockholm to Klas
Bergling and actress Ankie Liden.
“It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Tim Bergling” said Avicii’s representative in his statement.

He continued: “The family is devastated and we ask everyone
to please respect their need for privacy in this difficult time. No further
statements will be given.”
DJ Harris tweeted: “Devastating news about Avicii, a
beautifull soul, passionate and extremely talented with so much more to do. My
heart goes out to his family. God bless you Tim x”.
He was best known for hit songs like Wake me up and Levels,
both of which peaked at number one on the Billboard list of top dance club
songs. Twice nominations for a Grammy Award, Avicii debut album True,
released in 2013; it premiered in the top 10 in 10 different countries.
In 2007 he signed on with the Dejfitts plays label,
then in 2010 he released the hit song seek Bromance which reached the top 20 in
several countries including Beligium, France, Netherlands, UNITED Kingdom and Sweden.
By 2009 to 2010 Bergling was a prolific producer and was
releasing music incredibly quickly. His remixes during this period were “sound
of now,” “Ryu,” and “Even”.
Bergling explained that the name Avicii means “the lowest
level of Buddist hell”. In 2016, Avicii retired from live performing due to
health reasons, having suffered from acute pancreas infection, owing, in part,
to excessive drinking. He last released new music in 2017, with his six-track
EP Avicii.
The album was nominated for Billboard Music Award in the category of top dance/electronic album.
He thanked Billboard for the nomination in his most recent tweet.
Avicii was born September 8, 1989. He died April 20, 2018.
He was 28 years old.
