Shkodran Mustafi Badly Injurs Jack Wilshere in Weird Incident During Europa CSKA Moscow v Arsenal Match

Shkodran Mustafi accidentally hurt Jack Wilshere in the opening minutes of Arsenal’s Europa League 2-2 tie with CSKA Moscow.

Leading 4-1 from the first-leg the Gunners were looking to ensure they made a strong start in Russia.

With the hosts trying to apply some early pressure, a cross was swung into the box in the 8th minute.

Mustafi threw himself into a diving header to clear the danger, but inadvertently directed the ball straight into the face of Wilshere.

The England midfielder was floored by the ferocity of the header which caused the referee to stop the match.

Wilshere received treatment from the Arsenal medics and left the field but fortunately for the Gunners was able to make a swift return to the action.
