On December 18, 2016, Fifth Harmony announced Camila Cabello would no longer be a member of the group. But there was one problem: Cabello had no idea the tweet was going to be published. Camila Cabello "After 4 and a half years of being together, we have been informed via her representatives that Camila has decided to leave Fifth Harmony," read the tweet. But in a cover story with  Rolling Stone , the magazine says Cabello "didn't know they were sending that tweet."

Camila Cabello  who's on a music tour slated to go on through mid-June, just released TWO new songs. Cabello kicked off the  Never Be The Same Tour  in Vancouver on Monday, April 9, and she treated fans to new music during the performance. The first is a bit of a “tropical track,” which  Pharrell   served as a collaborator for, titled “ Sangria Wine .” Meanwhile,  Charli XCX  co-wrote the second release, which is titled “Scar Tissue.” Camila explained the crowd that scar tissue is the body’s way of healing when skin is burned or damaged, and that’s how she felt when writing the song. “I just want you to know that if any of you are going through a tough time, or lost, I just want you to be patient and loving, and brave, and treat yourself as if you were your own best friend,” she told the crowd according to Billboard . The “Havana” singer revealed that she may release more new music soon.

Camila Cabello Former Fifth Harmony member,  Camila Cabello   officially   turned 21 on March 3, 2018   and she posted a heart-warming video of her celebrating the big day with her parents in a tweet she posted on March 5, 2018. In the video, the singer is seen sitting in a chair in front of a birthday cake while holding balloons and smiling as her parents sing “Happy Birthday” very loudly and joyously in the background.
