Just six months after trading threats about their respective “nuclear buttons,” President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un finally met in Singapore on Tuesday morning, June 12, 2018. It will be the first-ever meeting between the leaders of the U.S. and North Korea. Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un meet in Singapore President Trump   shook hands with Kim Jong Un at the start of a first-of-its-kind meeting of a sitting U.S. president and a North Korean leader. Against a backdrop of U.S. and North Korean flags, the two first shook hands for about 12 seconds, and Trump at one point grabbed Kim’s arm as they posed for pictures.  Before sitting down for lunch, Trump joked with photographers,  saying , “Very nice, getting a good picture everybody so we look nice and handsome and thin?” They did not smile, but moments later exchanged grins and another handshake as they stopped in a colonnade on their way to a nearby room for their first one-on-one meeting. ...
