WWE's 2018 Extreme Rules  took place on July 15, 2018 at the PPG Paints Arena   in   Pittsburgh ,   Pennsylvania .   It was the tenth event under the   Extreme Rules   chronology. The card comprised of twelve matches, including two in the preshow. In the main event, Dolph Ziggler retained the Intercontinental Championship in an Iron Man match against Seth Rollins that went into sudden death. 

RAW General Manager Kurt Angle announced on this week's show that Ronda Rousey has been suspended for 30 days.  Rousey interrupted this week's [June 18, 2018] RAW opening segment to confront new RAW Women's Champion Alexa Bliss and ended up assaulting Bliss, Angle and a few referees.

WWE's Ronda Rousey got suspended last Monday night on RAW after assaulting General Manager Kurt Angle as well as referees. Ronda Rousey Rousey’s title hopes were ruined at  Money in the Bank  by Alexa Bliss just when she was ready to lock in the Armbar and make ex-RAW Women’s Champion Nia Jax tap out.

WWE's "Money in the Bank" card, on June 16, 2018 finally came through and pulled it off well after a somewhat lackluster start.  WWE Money in the Bank However this soon changed with a strong women's Money in the Bank match earlier in the night, and the final three matches of the evening that helped the show save face in front of a smart and passionate Chicago crowd.
