MOWZEY RADIO MURDER SUSPECT: Godfrey "Troy" Wamala

Suspected killer of Moses Ssekibogo aka Mowzey Radio, Godfrey “Troy” Wamala has been arraigned before Entebbe Chief Magistrate, Mary Kaitesi on charges of murder.

Wamala was not allowed to submit his plea to the offence because he's accused of a felony which can only be heard by the High Court. Consequently, the suspect has been remanded to Kigo until February 26, 2018.

Prosecution alleges that on the January 22, 2018 and February 1, 2018, Troy maliciously caused death to Mowzey Radio after hurling him hard on ground which resulted into his death while at De bar in Entebbe.

Godfrey Wamala, is a 28-year-old resident of Kyengera in Wakiso, and was arrested on Monday hiding in a friend’s home in Kyengera. His defense lawyer, the renowned Ladislaus Rwakafuzi, told court that the accused should be directly taken to High Court because it’s the competent one to try his clients and remand them.
