Why Rudeboy's Solo Career Looks Good For 2018

Early this year, Rudeboy [Paul Okoye] who was one half of  the defunct Nigerian afropop group, PSquare, dropped the official video of his second track as a single artist, "Nkenji Keke" -- and from the look of things, this is the kind of work that will have us forget last year's bitter split between him and his brother, Peter Okoye.

Directed by Mr. Moe Musa, Nkenji Keke is a crisp, clean video which simply glides on the fact that love is beautiful -- the reason, certainly, why Mr. Musa has had to set his story on the picturesque landscapes and scenaries of the most beautiful continent in the world.

Like Mama Africa would say, "no place be like Africa" and Rudeboy's writers get it right, to set their Nkenji Keke picnic upon such delightful set -- a plateau, surrounded by waterfalls and a chocolate-box blue sky -- fit for all the canoodling and smiling and giggling -- a  seldom considered plot by African artists when telling love stories...

Rudeboy's love interest, in the same breath, corroborates Rudeboy's idea very well -- the scenic panorama coupled with her believable acting face rather conspire with the Director's astute Camera angles to make Rudeboy look like the best loverboy in the world...

The model is immensely gorgeous and it's a weapon the video maker wields really well to choose the attire and color -- not ambigous to eclipse the romance -- which in the gazes, the touches and dances is the real color we want to see -- the color of love.

The loving couple having the time of their life finally run into a tribe and it is the icing on the cake -- they are welcoming, they are jolly --- a perfect expose of the African [genuine] kind of love -- Rudeboy and his better half quickly fit themselves in and when the dusk rolls up, they party away...

The audio and video of Nkenji Keke make 2018 look really auspicious for Rudeboy; he has exemplifed good lyrics, good storyline and exceptional picture quality -- as if PSquare never went away in the first place!

Good video, Rudeboy!
